At St Clare's, faith is at the heart of everything we do. Faith formation is woven into daily life at St Clare's. Each student engages in daily prayer, strengthening their relationship with God, and Religious Education is a dedicated subject, taught daily, that nurtures spiritual understanding. Many of our students take part in sacramental classes, deepening their journey of faith throughout their time at St Clare's.

We cherish our close bond with St Paul's Parish in Camden, guided by Father Michael and Father James, who bring spiritual leadership and support to our community. They regularly celebrate Mass and liturgies, both within our school and at St Paul's Church, fostering a vibrant connection between faith, education, and parish life.

St Clare's offers a diverse range of modern, air-conditioned learning spaces designed to support student engagement and creativity. These include a spacious school hall, a well-resourced lilbrary, a dedicated Creative Arts Room, and flexible breakout areas throughout the campus that encourage collaborative learning.

Our outdoor facilities feature a dedicated Kindergarten play area with age-appropriate equipment, as well as a variety of play surfaces, including grassed areas, hard courts, and synthetic grass areas. The Primary playground is equipped with outdoor learning zones and play structures. At the same time, the synthetic grass spaces provide versatile settings for sports such as netball, soccer, basketball, and volleyball, ensuring students have ample opportunities for active play and physical development.

At St Clare's, our vision of 'forming hearts and minds to make a difference' is at the core of everything we do. Learning is designed to both challenge and support students, helping them grow academically and spiritually. As a growing school, we offer four classes in the lower grades and three in the upper grades, with teachers working collaboratively to ensure consistent, high-quality teaching across all classrooms.

We are committed to delivering differentiated instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of every student. Learners are encouraged to take ownership of their educational journey by understanding how they learn best, setting personal goals, and identifying the support they need to succeed. The use of 'Learning Intentions' and 'Success Criteria' in every classroom ensures clarity and purpose, empowering students to engage deeply with their learning and strive for meaningful progress.

A strong sense of community is at the heart of St Clare's, reflected in the meaningful partnerships between the school and families. Our Parents and Friends Association plays an integral role in supporting the school and enriching student life. Over the years, their contributions have helped bring to life cherished events such as the annual school fair, Mother's and Father's Day stalls, school discos, colour runs and sporting carnivals. These activities are just a few examples of the many ways parents and friends can get involved and make a positive impact at St Clare's.

At St Clare's, technology is embraced as a vital tool for learning, helping students develop the skills needed to navigate an increasingly digital world. Students are taught to use technology responsibly and effectively to enhance their educational experience. Our Year 4 to Year 6 students participate in a 1:1 and School-Managed iPad program, while students from Kindergarten to Year 3 have access to shared classroom iPads. Every classroom is equipped with large-screen TV's, featuring Apple TV integration or interactive displays in K-2 learning spaces, supporting dynamic and engaging teaching practices.

St Clare's also actively participates in STEM and robotics programs, offering students hands-on opportunities to explore coding and problem-solving. Classes utilise a range of educational tobots, including Bee-Bots, VEX GO, and VEX IQ, to foster curiosity and build foundational skills in programming and computational thinking.   

At St Clare’s, there are many opportunities available to students. Each child will find something they can pursue whether it's academic, sporting or the arts, there is something for everyone. Every St Clare’s student participates regularly in lessons with specialist teachers in Italian, Music and Sport.

Some of our co-curricular activities include: Sports Gala Days, Public Speaking, Mini Vinnies, Coding Club (Robotics), Junior and Senior Choir, Dance Group, Band, Club Italiano, SPLICED, Chess Club. Each year, St Clare’s is also committed to showcasing our student’s talent in the arts, such as at our Creative Arts Night.
