World Environment Day
To celebrate World Environment Day, students at St Clare's were encouraged to wear a splash of green to raise awareness about the issues facing our world.
The annual celebration of World Environment Day is an opportunity for our school to join with others all around the world to collectively pause and reflect on how we can all better care for our planet.
This year, we celebrated this day with both prayer and action – aspiring to make a difference for the planet through this year's theme of "Reimagine. Recreate. Restore."
Our K-2 classes held a prayer celebration where they heard Year 1 sing a beautiful song about the wonders of God's creation.
Classes were encouraged to bring no waste lunch options and a Spark Award was given to Kindergarten White who had the least amount of single-use plastic in their lunch boxes.
We thank everyone for their participation in the day.
